Idle jet for Weber DCO and DCOE carburettors, controlling the mixture at idle, light load and during progression into the main circuit. Used to fine-tune drivability and throttle response.

Technical specifications

• Example marking: F8-55, combining the F-type and fuel drilling
• F8 is a common neutral starting point
• At the same drilling, F9 generally gives a richer progression and F6 a leaner characteristic
• Affects idle, light load and progression rather than high-rpm full-load fuelling

Installation and use

• Confirm ignition timing, fuel pressure, float level and throttle synchronisation before changing jets.
• Change one step at a time and record the result.
• Use a wideband lambda sensor under steady load where possible.
